Kitstaya is good for a sushi fix.  The cooked food at one point was really good.  We loved the yakisoba.  Then one time a few months back it was very blah...and we didn't come back for a while.  This time, it was very good again.  Maybe the cook had the day off that day?  Dunno. Hope the inconsistency is gone.  You can't argue with the value for the money here.  With hungry kids, Kitstaya is perfect.  It's not fancy schmancy, but it'll do in a pinch.  It's a very popular neighbourhood restaurant and is quite busy.

Located just across from Kid's Books, and a stone's throw from Notte's Bon Ton Bakery, Kitstaya is a good place to take the kiddies for a decent Japanese meal.

Plenty of parking is found in the streets on W. Broadway and they even have a few underground spots though it's pretty tight parking down there.  Transit is nearby.
