YOU CAN'T STOP YOUR HAIR COLOUR FROM FADING - BUT YOU CAN SLOW IT DOWN!
So if you've coloured your hair, or have gone 'darker' like Reese did at the beginning of the month {she did it for a movie role} - here's how to keep you hair looking vibrant and glossy:
* Don’t shampoo for at least a day after you colour. From then on, wash only every two to three days.
* Stick to shampoos and conditioners made for colour-treated hair - these products are designed to keep the hair shafts closed, and that keeps colour in.
* Be wary of volumising products - they can open the hair’s cuticles, releasing the colour inside and causing fading.
* Protect hair from the sun with a hat or a colour-protecting styling product.
* Salt water and chlorine can fade your shade, too, so create a barrier by wetting hair with fresh water, then applying conditioner. Hair acts like a sponge - if it’s wet, it can’t absorb
{the chlorine or the salt water} and will fade less.

* Keep hair healthy by minimising the damage of heat styling and using a regular conditioning treatment.
