WE LOVE A SIMPLE HEADBAND {LIKE THIS ONE AT DOLCE & GABBANA SPRING 2013}...

 it can turn a two-second 'do into something more special!

To DIY this look at home: Brush your hair back off your face and into a chignon, messy bun or even a ponytail, if you want something more casual. Then fold a large silk scarf {like shown in the illo to the left} to create your 'headband'. 

Sit the scarf {headband} a smidge back from your hairline and tie at the back of your head, just below your bun, chignon or ponytail. Spray your brush {or a spare toothbrush} with hairspray and run through hair to fix any flyaways around your hairline.
